After a shaky start January has, as ever, been proving to be a great time to ski. The snow fell abundantly in the early part of the month, followed by a spell of sub-zero temperatures mixed with more snow. The forecast is set fair now for a few days at least and, as almost everyone in the know will tell you, January skiing is special.
